`Ayn al-`Arab District (; (クルド語:Kobanê)) is a district of Aleppo Governorate in northern Syria. Administrative centre is the city of Ayn al-Arab (Kobanê). The district fills the northeastern section of the governorate, and its northern boundary is along the Syria–Turkey border. In January 2014, the territory was declared as the de facto autonomous Kobanî Canton of Rojava.
